I was looking around trying to find new info on Windows 7 (as I am in IT, I like to see what's coming) and I ran into this on a russain site.... Windows 7 build 6780 Media Center !!!!
A lot of stuff looks the same but, there is a bunch of new things from what I can see....I figured I'd share...
Take a look for yourself, if you want to read it, translate through google or someplace else...

Wish I could get my hands on this to really check it out.....
Edit: If any of you geeks want to read about where Microsoft is going with Windows 7 and things coming to it (nothing about Media Center so far), it's very interesting reading from the engineering point of view. check out this link

I like the on-screen keyboard for touch screen support - but let's wait and see ;-)

Just want to point out that the source of the screenshots is WinFuture.de project that greatly posted screenshots galleries of 6780, 6801 builds. We only did a repost for russian-speaking users. The original gallery is:

Cool, thanks !
Wow.. some nice updates in the pictures & music sections of Media Center.
Hopefully the DVR aspects also get some slick upgrades. But most of all, I hope they fix the nasty bugs in pre-Windows-7-Media-Center (aka TV Pack).
Bah... I can badmouth MSFT all I want, but I know I'll be buying Windows 7 for my HTPC.
macblob:Still would like to see TV Tuner input support for HiDEF red/blue green cabling, SPDIF, FireWire and HDMI Cabling..
The only product on the market that can input from a componet HD signnal that is not $10,000, is the HD-PVR. Right now, it records in H.264, and current versions of Media Center do not support it, so it does not work.
I would be shocked if the next version of Media Center does not support H.264 right out of the box. As the word is, it got attempted in the TV pack but, due to problems it got pulled (at least that is what people have posted on this site).
Windows 7 Media Center so far looks a little different on Pictures and Videos (better or worse is depending on how it all works), but, in all those pictures, I didn't notice any other features besides that.
With that being said, I still would like to play with it....
H.264 is CONFIRMED! It's about time! Woohoo!!!
