I just wrote a quick plugin to allow you to launch the new Hulu Desktop application inside Media Center... Since Hulu Desktop works with a remote this will make it feel like it is just a Media Center application!

Sorry... it doesn't work on Extenders... Hulu Desktop was written completely in Flash and that doesn't work correctly on Extenders.

But hey... this will give everyone yet another way to watch Hulu stuff *inside* Media Center!

It should install fine in Windows Vista and Windows 7... I tested it in both here...

    Get it at http://www.secondRun.tv

    Awesome.

For some reason, when I exit Hulu the remote will not respond until I use the mouse to minimize media center and maximize again.
  •
Unfortunatly I get (Under Win7 RC1) a "This program has stopped responding" message.
"You think you're pretty Smuckin' Fart don't you?"

Make sure that you move a copy of the Hulu Desktop app to your C: drive... there are instructions on the download page for the plugin.

Nice (to everyone don't forget to copy the folder to your root of C:, it fixes the crash errors).

Too bad the interface only works with the arrow, OK and back buttons, wish it would work with the DVR controls too, maybe next version ?

The loader works great ! Thanks !

Anyone having problems with the remote after exiting let me know if you are using Windows 7 or Vista... I am not having any problems with Vista... but haven't tested on 7 yet.

    Thanks Yaggs!

With the remote control, is there a way to:

    1. Maximize the Hulu Desktop window (mine is set to mid-screen)?
    2. Exit Hulu Desktop and go back to WMC?

    Thanks!

The shortcut link, hulu.lnkm right click go to properties and set the window size to max.

Using Windows 7 32bit. Everything works great. It's just the non responsive remote after exiting.

I'm guessing since this software works for both the PC and the Mac, they only supported the buttons that are common between the 2. I agree they should include the other buttons, the arrow keys are not the most intuative.

Don't they have 2 different dowloads ? (one for MAC one for PC).

Yea, playing back video and using the arrow keys, is not very good.

Windows 7, 32-bit. No remote problems on exit! Perhaps the type of remote is the problem? I used standard IR during this test.
