ganjagadgetAny chance of adding Pandora support?
I'm not against it, but I am not aware of any Pandora apis for searching or playing music. If anyone knows better, please let me know.
Martin
Martin,
I noticed you uploaded a 1.2 version to handle errors a bit more gracefully. Though I’m sure not the most interesting of "features" to enhance, I’ve managed to still get Media Center to come up with invalid application and some other anomalies. I guess I’m just a little anxious for Last.fm to fix their authentication so I’m still just playing around in the mean time.
Anyway, in case you are interested, here are the steps to reproduce:1. Removed HKLM Songler registry keys.2. Open Songler.3. Click Preferences, enter credentials, click Save.4. Observe “Error authorizing” message.5. Click OK.6. Click Back.7. Close Songler.8. Open Songler.9. Click Preferences and credentials already populated.10. Click Save.11. Observe message “Last.FM Username and Password validated as non-premium subscriber…”12. Click OK.13. Click Back.14. Close Songler.15. Attempt to Launch Songler.16. Observe “Invalid Application.”17. The only way to get it to launch again is to remove registry keys.

I was under the impression from other people that last.fm had pretty much sorted out their issues. That means it may be a different problem. Have a look at the FAQs here and follow the diagnostics in FAQ # 5.
Has anyone got this9LastFM) to work on a extedner?
I haven't had any luck Alton. I notice that the RDP session isn
t picking up the stream.
alton987Can't wait to get LastFM inside Media Center finally, I posted on Martin's forum about the extender issue. Hopefully he'll check it out soon.
Yes, I'll be looking in to it when I get a chance.
Has anyone else experienced the problem where after every two or three songs it says cannot find the file and stops playing? This happens when either I let it play the songs all the way through or skip through them.
NightZircerdamn awesome! this was exactly what i needed to even consider using spotify instead of my own music library! but would it be possible to merge your own library together with the spotify library? If I search for something that isnt in spotify, but I got it on my harddrive, it would show up the result, and just play it locally instead..?
Thanks. Glad you like it. There are also some enhancements in the works to make the UI even easier to use, which hopefully folks will like.
That's a good suggestion about mixing the sources. I'll have a think about that
Thanks
I've just released version 1.4 which adds the ability to create playlists with Spotify tracks. Now when you click on an album you get the option to play or to add to now playing. Similarly when you click on a track you get the option to play or add to now playing, just as with local music on your PC. Download now from www.milliesoft.co.uk.
I'm sure someone will ask why it doesn't just add the tracks to the regular Windows playlist - the answer is that a windows playlist can't handle interfacing with Spotify (or the metadata from last.fm).
