Maybe you can also add a section on handling subtitles in MKV and subtitle files.

What I do is install Shark007 ( http://shark007.net/ ) then I run the codec utility to force ffdshow ( http://www.codecguide.com/windows7_preferred_filter_tweaker.htm ) and then install media control ( http://damienbt.free.fr/ ).  I can then handle all the subtitles from my remote control.  I programmed a button on my harmony to jump to the subtitle menu.  I was wondering if anyone had an alternative to this method.

Definitely a useful little site.  I run a 1024 monitor though and had some sidescrolling issues.  Looks like the site is running for 1280 users it was a pain to use my macbook (Firefox) to view the site.  Sidescrolling sucks.   It broke the differences in tuner cards down to easy to digest explanations.  Was very helpful for me thank you.  Because of the sidescrolling though I won't be revisiting it anytime soon.  I think the horizontal menu is the culprit.  It's too long.

Thanks for the comments, I do try to add to my site often and I'll be updating it with .MKV subtitle info soon.

I also will look into the issue with viewing the site on lower resolution monitors, thanks for the heads up on that.
