I don't really know what you are talking about ChiWax, but everybody vote for this app. It would send a nice message to microsoft about the importance of media center if a media center app was most desirable in their contest.

Remote potato already does this, except for video and music streaming, it only does TV. For videos and music I just use orb, its free and works great.
I agree it should be included in media center, but the functionality is available already through 3rd party.
Whether or not you think you'll end up with a Windows Phone 7, if you like Media Center - and that's why you are here, isn't it? - then please help support this app idea.
However, votes alone aren't necessarily going to cut it. The rules for the contest are quite involved and the #1 app at the close of the contest isn't necessarily the winner, but it's position will be a factor. Another important factor is viral marketing. The more links that exist and are clicked on from Facebook, Twitter, blogs, other web sites, etc back to the app idea in the contest improve the viral rating. This will be taken into consideration when Microsoft choose which app to create.
So if you have a Facebook account, Twitter account, blog or some other web site, please go to the Brickfish web site and link back to the app from there:
Thanks!
RandomRageRemote Potato isn't a Windows Phone 7 native APP, and it requires multiple plugins to run on the WMC side. Some of the ideas behind the app are a little pie-in-the-sky (I don't see live streaming over 3G as happening), but if there were a Zune-BLOCKED EXPRESSION sync for TV shows, that'd be nice. Hell, if you could use Zune in Windows Media Center, that'd be something...
Hi!
If I understand remote potato, it is not using the web interface of windows home server, and I find that rather useless. The personal windows home server domain and website should be the service endpoint for these kind of services, until mesh, myspace, azure etc etc matures. I dont want to expose my HTPC to the internet for this, but rather the server I have, which is protected and secured behind a firewall.
But then again, maybe the remote potato stuff has developed since I first checked it out? PLease enlighten me, Im dying for some useful WHS +Win7MC plugins.
And of course when Phone 7 is released I want full control over my WHS app (which I guess MS will release since the web inteface for Vail is already in Silverlight.

The idea for this application is now in first position.
Remember that you can vote once a day so please keep voting and lets get this app written.
Meanwhile I will check out Remote Potato as it could be the replacement for Web Guide that we've all been waiting for ;-)
