Hi everyone, I had a very busy day today sorry. Instead of sending a newsletter I'm just going to tell you what I know here. The first batch of boards have been made and are currently going though testing. So far everything is going well. At the current schedule they will be shipped out of India at the end of this week and should be in the US mid-next week. At that point they will be shipped to the distributors (zones, cannon and fluid) who will send them to their individual customers. I'll keep you up to date when they ship from India. I'm in trouble now since I've been procrastinating from a work project by building my new Win 7 Media Center, ready for the CETON.  Now it looks Like I'm basically done with the buildout and all that has to happen is delivery and install of the InfiniTV.

Now what am I supposed to do while I wait... work?

ps. I just noticed Zones sent me a spammy sales newsletter...  for a moment I thought it was going to be an order shipment confirmation...

Ha, me too!

So shipment arrives to US around wednesday next week.  Distributes to sellers probably on weeks end.  And will send out to the buyers which will take around 3-4 days for ground.  So probably we can expect to have it in our hands in 2 weeks?

I think we should rename this website.  The Green Button just doesn't fit anymore.  I think we should call it The Speculation Button.

 HA!  That makes it sounds like we are USUALLY given enough information to make educated guesses! Most of the time we dont get much if any information...Ceton is about the first and only one to be transparent with us.

 I think more people would agree that any update we get from Jeremy is pointless crap. 

Jeremy's updates aren't either pointless or crap - at least for those of us who don't blame Ceton for the delays. I've been of the mind for quite some time that they are doing the best they can to manage circumstances outside of their control. Giving us frequent updates is of no help if all they have to say is "still waiting for our contractors to get the parts", especially since they got burned after telling us a timeframe previously. I'm content with what Jeremy has provided and looking forward to my InfiniTV4 when it arrives. BTW - I understand the frustration some people are feeling. It's only natural when there's a product we all want very badly. But we're all adults too - and there are ways of letting people and corporations know we're less than happy that don't involve the level of rudeness that I expect from "fanz" or the "l337" crowd. Just a thought - but can we please tone down the rhetoric? It's been going on since the first delay, and a little old for those of us who want to be excited about the product.

Thanks Jeremy for the update.  I appreciate it when I can get a direct quick update direct from the source (and a clean thread) and not have to sift through a bunch of forum whining and complaining.  I buy a lot of tech for my company and this past year has been brutal with back orders and long etas.  No one is immune to the shortages in componets and slow downs in the manufacturing processes.  Let us know if you get any further updates.

 BTW, Kevin at Fluid Digital has been great keeping me posting of the delays also.
