this seams good until i read the part of using its own interface. No point of having another mediacenter sort of interface while it says that it integrates in 7MC.

I'm 99.99999% certain that you can use the remote in the native 7MC UI - I definitely read that somewhere.
The Amulet menus are optional I think - and I guess possibly helpful while getting used to the remote.
I saw a preview video with this remote being used ~12 months ago - I thought it had gone down the same pipes as that cool sideshow remote!

you are corrrrect! Once you have the lingo down, you can really use it without the UI. Just takes some practice. But for beginning, the UI really makes life SUUUUPER simple.

Instead of a whole new remote, how about an app for smartphones? They could sell it for $5 or $20 I'm sure people will buy.
At that price I'll stick with my $25 bluetooth headset, Win 7 voice commands, and a $2 bluetooth dongle.
I don't think that I'll be giving up my Harmony remote for this thing anytime soon...Am I missing something?
Yeah - shouting over the TV to get your remote to respond!
