I would be interested to find out how people are converting and storing bbchd recordings.

Which file formats are people using for storage, and is anybody recompressing to save on space?

Well I'm experimenting with converting to 720p h264 with my test file to see what the results are like then converting the mkv back to WTV for full extender support. One thing I'd be interested in is finding a straight forward way of editing h264 files. Although BBC HD is commercial free, the recordings could do with a little trimming either side sometimes. Any tools out there that do the job?

If you are remuxing into a .ts file then TS Cutter should be able to trim the start and end points.

This is the graph that will dump a .h264 file and a .ac3 file onto my desktop, from there I can run it through tsmuxer and get a playable .ts or .mt2s file.

try this tools , convert h264 wtv to mpeg-ts without transcode

I can confirm the latest version of Tmpeg does H264 wtv it quickly re-muxes the file to a Transport Stream then lets you encode it to whatever you want ...

Oh and you can cut any ads or whatever out with Tmpeg too!

Where can I get the dump.ax filter?   I downloaded GraphStudio,  but don't see this filter.   I'm very new to this,  please help.

I'm bumping this as i too am having trouble getting dump.ax to work. when i click filter dump iget no prompt to a file directory...
