Hi everyone. I'm new to this and just finished building my HTPC using Windows 7 media centre. If I set it to record a series, but then delete the episode as soon as I've watched it, will media centre automatically record any repeat of that same episode again? This was something my freeview plus set top box did, and it really annoyed me. Thanks for any help

No it won't so long as your default settings are set to "New" programs and not "New & ReRun" you can find this in the Task/settings/TV/recorder/recorder defaults menu. However this is always dependant on the guide listing the episodes as "Repeat" for any repeated episode, While this is the case the large majority of the time, there are some occasions where this is not the case.
