Hey guys, I'm running into an issue on a new install of Win7.
Previously I had Win7 installed with no issues and everything worked beautifully, then my HDD died and I had to reinstall everything. Now the controls, volume box, sizing buttons and other on screen controls do not sit correctly ONLY when in full screen mode.
Has anyone seen this before?
P.S. ignore the extra window and taskbar in the screenshot, thats the only way I could get a capture of MC
Funny how things work....
I deleted my original user account, then created a new one, the problem went away... wtf...
I've read where if your MC and desktop resolutions aren't the same this can occur.

I actually have this problem, but not willing to delete the user account. My screen appears exactly as above. Frankly I did not even realize it was an issue until I read this post. My native resolution is the same as media center (720p). The only thing I changes was the font sizing in the OS to make it more readable from the couch. How can this be fixed?

When you set up your monitor in MCE, what did you select for monitor type? Some of them allow for overscan by sucking the button positions inward so if you display it on a monitor without overscan, they apprear to be away from the corners.
Try using "flat panel" as a monitor type. It has no overscan and the buttons should be correctly positioned. "Television" sucks in the buttons. I'm not sure about the others.
So funny you wrote this. I literally just came back from my htpc after having reset the monitor config to flat panel instead of television. Problem solved. Thanks.
