I've just upgraded the TV to an HD version and would like to know if there are any tips/tricks for getting the best possible display of SD content.

I'm currently using the standard playback method for WTV, DVR-MS and live TV and DirectShow for all other formats. I appreciate that the TV can and will upscale but I was wondering if there is anything I should configure to do this better?

(side note: I know that upscaling isn't as good as HD content - but I do know that straight pixel doubling is probably the least attractive way of doing things)

For example, when I installed DirectShow I had an option to force the video to a specific size. Should I set this to 1080p and then change some other settings or should I just leave it as it is?
