Bump. Anyone?
Running 64 bit Windows 7 with 32 bit visualisations perhaps?
That doesn't seem to be the case. They work in Media Player, but not Media Center. Like I said, they don't even show up in the settings as options.
By default, Windows Media Player in Windows 7 x64 is 32-bit.
I am having the same problem, I have several visualizations in Media Player but only three are showing in Media Center. I am running Windows 7 32-bit and I cannot see my other visualizations. Has anyone found a solution or a reason for this problem?
In my experience, visualizations work fine in Media Center on W7 32 bit but not on W7 64bit.
I cannot figure out what the problem is but the only visualizations that are showing are Alchemy. Bars & Waves and Battery. I have several more, all downloaded from the Microsoft site and they work fine in Media Player. Can you offer some suggestions to help me play them in Media Center. As I said before I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit. Thanks for your help in advance.
Did you verify that they are available to MC? Settings > music > visualizations.
The only ones present are the ones I said in the previous post. I did go to settings, music, visualizations and the three I said are the only ones showing. There is no logical reason all do not show as they are all from Microsoft. I have been dealing with this for a couple weeks before I chose to search to see if anyone else was having this problem. There are no good answers when I searched microsoft support. Everything is properly installed and plays fine in media player.
I forgot to say thank you for helping me. I really appreciate whatever info you can give me.
Are you sure you're running 32 bit? I installed 32 bit on one particular machine just so I can have visualizations. I installed Morphyre and runs inside of Media Center.
I double checked and my netbook is running 32-bit, my desktop is running 64-bit. Sorry! I guess I am just out of luck. Thanks again for the help.
