Slide Shows vs Slide Show Screen Saver
Hi Folks,
I really like the main 'Slide Shows' function - which in my opinion is a slick and unfussy way of showing your pictures. Is there any way to get this type of slide show (or something similar) to kick in as a screensaver?
I know that there is the 'Slide Show Screen Saver' already, but it's not the same type of slide show, and I think (just my opinion) that it looks a bit rubbish. The problem for me is that the thing is constantly scrolling around a huge array of zoomed-out black and white pictures, and when it does finally get around to showing a picture, it's not in full screen but in a silly white box.
The basic slide show does a much better job in my opinion. Also the the 'pan-and-zoom' option proves very good at disguising pictures taken on cameras that don't have the same aspect ratio as the screen (and which I haven't bothered to crop especially)!!
Maybe I'm the only person who thinks this, but if not then I'd love to hear if anyone else has managed to get a better slide show (more akin to the regular Slide Show function) working as the screensaver.
Thanks,
Dave
