After reading many of the postings, I guess I shouldn't complain.

I have a newer computer with Windows7 Media Center, am using Playon with the

Playit (add on/plug in?) and everything works well EXCEPT I cannot enter an alpha

character with the extender remote, which is a TS GV-IR07.

I have not tried Netflix yet, but will in the near future.

I am currntly using HULU, and there are few movies available that do not require

 logging in with user name, password etc.

I am unable to log in because I can't enter alpha characters with the extender

remote. The DMA 2100 user guide says to press a number key until the desired

 character is displayed, then press Enter. All I can get is the numerical character.

 I know how the process is supposed to work, so am sure I am following the

 procedure as I should.

I don't know if a firmware revision did or could correct this, or if is unique to my

setup.

As I indicated, the MC and extender work wiell. Not the fastest, but video and

audio are perfectly acceptable.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has expeienced this or can offer

adviice.
