I know sounds like a screen saver issue. But it is not as I have both the regular Win7 and the MCE screen saver disabled.
I have a setup with the primary display being an LCD used as a control display. My main display is a projector (DVI). The display where I have MCE.
What happens? After switching on the projector the screen stays blank. Moving the mouse or clicking a button on the keyboard will not help. However, I hear the feedback from my mouse and key activities. I have to close MCE with ALT-F4 and restart MCE. All is well then. But, of course not an acceptable option.
I have an ATI graphics adapter, all the latest software and drivers (problem did not change over the last updates).
Good to know the issue is somewhat known. Are there any known workarounds to "wake up" the display?
