Ordered 8/17 from Cannon.  Never received order confirmation, but checking on the site, my order still shows up.

So how many are being produced in this next batch???

Football season has started - any chance the card gets here before Penn State v. Alabama w/ about an hour or so for me to get it installed?

I am glad to hear of Ceton's efforts to make this happen.  They are taking risks offering this product - it justs need to be widely available and easy to use (or he can get a team of geeks for cheap - an extra few $ to send a TGB member to your home to install the card and get you up and running).

 Please get in about 10 to 20 thousand and start selling.

I have more good news. We found the part! I've been told that we were able to get all the parts for another batch, roughly the same size as the first batch, and they will start making them Tuesday or Wednesday next week. I found this out about 10 minutes ago. I really am keeping you as informed as I am. I don't have details of when they will ship, it will be a few weeks. Should be out this month I expect though.

So what was the size of the first batch???

I work for a medium sized private company.  (Under $1B per year in revenue.)  We would never, ever discuss shipment or sales information outside the company.  In fact, it's not even discussed within the company.  It's private, proprietary information that is no one else's business.  Discussing it in a public forum would be ludicrous.

Asking Ceton to disclose shipment information is akin to going over to your next door neighbor's house, knocking on his door and asking him how much money he makes.  It's very inappropriate.

I wonder why Fluid customers post to the TGB less than customers who order elsewhere. Did Fluid advertise somewhere not frequented by TGB members?

bear in mind that Cannon sold the ATI-DCT at one point, so it's likely that TGB people were more familiar with Cannon.

Orders to Zones from TGB readers effectively stopped dead once Cannon and Fluid came online, so I think you're just seeing the TGB effect - the early burst of orders on your list is largely made up of people who were reading TGB at the time, and who decided to pre-order based on the discussions in this forum. The later entries in your list are probably more likely to be from people who learned about the card in other forums, and who came to this forum after ordering.

Great news, thanks for the information .  So tired or the word "pending" on my order that was placed with Canon on 4/3.

I was lucky to make it under the wire with my 3/22 Cannon order. At least there is now a light at the end of the tunnel.   Wonderful product...

been waiting MANY years for this capability and  functionality at a semi reasonable price (i.e ATI DCT didn't count).

Count on an extra week for install due to the inevitable several cable company screw  ups....

I ordered mine yesterday from zone at 5 pst.

Understood, but there should be a *rough* estimate from all the tracking that has taken place.  Just curious if I am going to make the second batch (I doubt it, I ordered on May 11th from Cannon).

I think that would be more like your neighbor already told you how much he makes per hour and went over and asked how many hours he worked last week. Either way they're not required to tell us but some would still like to know.

God help me, I finally ordered mine from CannonPC today--officially.

If I'm lucky I'll get it before the next new Star Trek series starts.  Not saying there actually is one coming (not that I've heard anyway)...  But c'mon, there's ALWAYS a Star Trek series!  And, if there is one, I just pray to get this card before then!
