glugglug Should there be anything under Ceton InfiniTV in the All Programs menu besides the diagnostics app, like a shortcut to the web interface or something? I wouldn't have known to look for the web interface if it wasn't for this board...

Sounds like a good idea.
About the only issue I'm having is that 30 or 60 second startup time when resuming from S3 sleep. My wife sees it when she uses the extender and she thinks something is wrong, so she calls me. As I arrive everything is all good. Weird. I wish that maybe a more informative message could be put there such as "please wait, initializing receiver" or something similar.
aaawrekngI can be recording 2 shows, then go to channel surf and it says there are no tuners available and asks me which of my 2 shows I want to stop recording. Tech Support must be slammed because I can only get 1 reply a day from them on their ticket system, and that reply is a very simple generic question back to me. If I can get this resolved, I WILL LOVE THIS CARD!!!!
Search the forums there was another member having the same problem turned out to be a firmware issue with the M-Card, it needed an update to support 4 streams. The older firmware only supported 2 streams.

How to Convert TV Series DVDs & Blu-rays to WTV
Install, was as easy as everybody has already said.
I had a signal strength issue that was promptly resolved by my cable provider, and since then have had 0 problems, I am not using any TA's to I get to avoid that mess for now.
For anyone interested in setting up their own premium DVR, I couldn't recommend this card more, It should fit in just about any case out there, and works as advertised, what more can you ask (other than perhaps a lower price point )

I received my InfiniTV4 on Wednesday evening and started the install at 10am on thursday. All went along pretty simply until I tried to start media center. After beating my head against the wal i opened a ticket with Ceton, there response was fairly quick. It turns out that if you are running Norton Security Suite or Mcafee there are ports that are blocked that are needed for the pairing and update operations of the cablecard. Mine started working after I shutoff Norton, I received the following information form Ceton:
It is not specified whether the porst are remote or local, I am gooing with local unless I hear otherwise.

Cool, thanks
Been using the Ceton InfiniTV quad tuner for a little over a week now, and am pretty impressed. Had to go through the initial setup twice, as the CableCard install screen on Media Center didn't give the host ID info needed to activate the CableCard (may have been due to the fact it downloaded CableCard firmware when we installed the card).
Running a MediaSmart TV, and two Linksys DMA2100 Extenders. The Ceton is installed in a Quad Core system, and with 4 tuners active (and recording HD content), the CPU usage is very low (under 30%). Have similar issues with it being seated next to the video card, but so far nothing has melted yet. Also had to get a second tuning adapter, but so far haven't had many issues (BBC and WE don't always tune in, but had the same behavior with them on the ATI device before).
With some Google searching, the SlingBox was even able to control one of the Linksys DMA2100's, so the $18/mo Cable DVR box is going back to the BrightHouse store today!!! Awesome to have EVERYTHING running off the MediaCenter with one single interface for media access on TV's, computer and phone.
