No tuner detected
I've come across a couple of similar posts but no solutions have been offered. I've installed an Angel PCI TV tuner card that works with MCE 2005 (I can dual boot to XP and it works fine). Immediately after I installed it with Windows 7, Microsoft update found an updated driver for it and I let it install. However, when I try to set up the TV through MC I receive the message that a TV tuner cannot be found. I would think perhaps that the card isn't compatible with Win7 but Win7 updated the driver for the card. I have to assume it is compatible. It shows in device manager with out any warning signs. My question is: How do I get MC to recognize and set up the Angel PCI tuner? I have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them. I have also removed the card, restarted and then reinstalled it. Suggestions?
