I'm having the exact same problem as tjh011. No indicator lights on the receiver during standby, and thus won't wake through the remote. Only wakes via the PS/2 keyboard.
Per the instructions above I:Looked for newer drivers for the eHome Infrared Receiver for XP Pro but could not find any. Current driver 5.1.2600.5512.Verified BIOS set to allow USB resume from S3dumppo.exe to verify system is set for S3Used MST to allow all USB devices to wake from standbyChecked Device Manager to make sure all Human Interface Devices and Microsoft eHome keyboards Power Management settings can bring the PC out of standby. I also deleted all unused, hidden devices in Device Manager. The USBBIOSHACK was already in place.
Under one of the USB Root Hub Properties, it lists the eHome IR, requiring 100mA and "The hub is self-powered". Not sure if that means anything.
