Is there a way to call up My Movies 2 with an MCE remote?

Like probably a lot of people, I use My Movies 2 (version 2.42). I'd like to be able to call this up directly from the remote, I almost never use the My Video button (since almost everything is in My Movies 2), and was wondering if there's a way to reassign that button?

My remote is not the Microsoft version, it's the one that came with my Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150 1062 MCE Kit Tuner Card (w/MCE Remote). It basically has most of the same buttons as the MS version, and works perfectly with MCE 2005, but probably I'm looking for a solution that doesn't involve reprogramming the remote itself, but some setting I can change so it takes me to the My Movies 2 page instead of the My Video page?

    The specs:

MCE 2005 all roll-ups and updates
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ on an Abit UL8, 1 GB RAM
Sapphire Radeon X1650 Series 512 MB
    Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150
    Creative SB Live!
    2 x WD 250 GB SATA
    1 x WD 250 GB IDE
    1 x WD 200 GB IDE
    BenQ LightScribe DVD burner IDE
    Lite-on CD-R/RW DVD-ROM combo IDE

    Thanks for any help,
    Brian

I've got this working with a harmony 880 remote and I don't have the remote your using but if your remote has an Asterisks key this shoud work for you.

    1. Down load a program called HotkeyP (google it - its freeware)
    2. In the program add a new Hotkey
    3. Check the box for the Shift button
    4. In the input box type: 8
    5. In the Command input type or navigate to:

                              C:\Program Files\MCE\My Movies\MyMovies.mcl

    6. Click OK to save
    7. Open My Computer or Explorer and navigate to: C:\Program Files\MCE\My Movies\
    8. Right click on the file MyMovies.mcl
    9. From the menu choose - Open With - and choose Media Center. Make sure the checkbox for - Always use the selected program to open this kind of file - is checked.

HotkeyP will need to be running in the System tray, and Now when you press the Asterisks key it will open My Movies.

On the Harmony 880 I added it to the LCD display window and Named it DVD Movies since my remote does not have an Asterisk Key but I am able to assign that to this button.

Thanks for the help Jeff, it works great.

Still wish there was some way to re-map the "My Videos" button, though. I tried setting HotkeyP to the keyboard shortcut for "Go to My Videos," but apparently the buttons on the remote don't exactly match up with the keyboard shortcuts (i.e. if I set Ctrl+E to go to My Movies, then pressing those keys does go there instead of to My Videos, but the My Videos button on the remote still won't).
