Hi, I restored my beloved HP 873N to MCE 2005 with Rollup 2 and SP3. I have Radeon 9600 installed as well.

For whatever reason it will not detect the stock TV Tuner card in MCE. It used to work until I fried the drive a few years ago. It has been sitting around since then. I reinstalled the drivers and installed MCE drivers for the Radeon. No dice at all. Device manager shows no conflicts and it shows emuzed under sound but no where else. Any ideas how to get it detected? Thanks!

Update: I am giving up on this Emuzed OEM card. What is the cheapest tuner card I can throw in here that will not have a detection or compatibility issue? I don't need HD.

I used to use the dual Angel emuzed (don't remember the card number but the company is now Luminate) and can simply interject that BOTH my tuners on this card were NOT always alive.  The point of dual tuning (watching a program and recording another or recording two at once).  Since you say you fried your drive, possible frying extended to the bus and or the card?  If you have another PC available to you, put it in and see if the old Windows "New Hardware found" wizard comes up and see's the card at all.   On to the contrary of this, try a modem or something else in this slot where the Maui was to test the bus/bus controller.

As for cost...I went for what I found through logs and posts as a reliable and liked company called Hauppague.  I have the 1600 and USB 850.  Unfortunately I have no more PCIe bus ports but my Navidia card use to use on my Dell 8100, or I would have gotten the 2250.  These all have QAM, Analog and ATSC.
