Hi all, I have had my HP Pavilion running Vista and a single tuner for quite a while. I am wanting to add a SiliconDust HDHomeRun Dual tuner and build a HTPC. Before I go spend the $$ for the HD Homerun dual tuner can someone please tell me that this will run with my computer?

The issue I have is the min requirements says: 2.8 GHz Pentium 4 (or similar) for HD playback

My HP is Intel(R) Core (TM) 2 Quad CPU  Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz  2.40 GHz

So is it 2.40X 2 or just 2.40 and if so is that enough for smooth HD playback?

    Thanks!

You're fine....I can record 4 HD streams with that configuration with CPU to spare.
