A wonderful application for the iphone and ipod touch is the Mobile Air Mouse. It is an App. that will turn your ipod touch into a wireless mouse, keyboard, and remote. Well, that is if the thing would work with MC. I have been trying for over a week following the advice I'm getting from the tech team with no luck. It's supposed to work but simply will not!!
The Mobile Air Mouse application will control everything other program on the computer as it should. The mouse works, the keyboard works. All the keys work and all the remote buttons function as they should in all programs except MC. Once MC opens the only application remote buttons that work are the volume up, down, mute, and eject. I can also use the keyboard to type in the search window inside MC. The combination keys will not work (ctrl = another key) The mouse functions as it should but none of the other buttons will. It is like there is a block on MC. I have tried everything imagined to get it to work inside MC. It is designed to do so but will not.
There must be some kind of registry setting that is blocking the application from controlling MC.
Do you have any suggestions?
Have you had any success using this application with MCE 2005?

works great with my HTPCs (couple XP mce, 1 vista, 2x win7)
Mobile Air Mouse support did everything they could to get it to work but could not. I found and love using Hippo Remote. I will check out remotely Possible.
