I'd love to see  at least one of the 8 winners be 'just' a Windows enthusiast that had a great idea.  Is anybody already contemplating an app submission? Obviously since it's a contest you don't have to share details but who is going to take shot at it?

If you are not up for building an app yourself what apps would you like to see in the first 8?  Maybe someone here will be inspired by some ideas that others have.

How about an eit guide reading app so we don't have to put up with the crappy Microsoft guide... That'd be nice

How about an app that allows you to browse the guide, schedule recordings, change series settings, and view live and recorded TV from a remote Media Center computer?  I would buy that app.
