I will make it save the last setting to the registry, that should take care of the problem. Right now it defaults to Wave.

The MCE remote controls the Master volume control on the sound card, however when outputing audio via SP/DIF the master volume control is not functional.
The solution was to track changes to the master volume and apply them to the "Wave" device volume or "SP/DIF" output volume controls, which is what VolumeTracker does in the background.
One quick question : how to get it to link the wave sound to the master one "by default" i.e. on computer startup? Is there any kind of startup option?
I get the app running but no mapping is done by default and I have to do it every time the computer starts - not good for WAF...
Thanks.
It will pick the wave channel by default, I working on having it save the other settings.
To have to start automatically, create a shortcut to the application and place the shortcut in the "Startup" group. I'll work on adding this as an automatic option for the next release.
Hi Chris,
Thanks for the answer.
I initially did test the tracker on a non MCE PC and it work just fine at picking the wave channel as default (I could see it pre-selected).
I installed it on my MCE machine and did put it the startup group already. But when it starts, there is no channel pre-selected!
What would you recommend I look at for understanding the cause of this problem?
Thanks !
