AkilleuZ was asking for a slightly more Media-Center based way of launching games. So I've released 'My Games', which allows you to launch games from the 10' interface.

You set up your list of games in a standard Windows interface (because let's face it - you've probably had to INSTALL the darn thing using the Windows interface anyway!). You'll find the configuration app in your Start menu, under 'Program Files / Push-A-Button / My Games'.

If you have MAME installed (ideally the COMMAND line version of Mame, but the GUI version - MAME32 - will also work), you can point it to your MAME program and your rom directory, and it will scan for ROMS and add them to your list automatically.

Give it a try, tell me how it goes.

If you DO download it, could you please add a reply to this thread and tell me how it went? As it is, I don't know if the people viewing the thread are actually trying out the program :P

    BUGS LOCATED:

Some MAME games will not function correctly, as they need to be launched differently

MAME games that are incomplete (eg. ROM files missing) are still listed

0.2.1 will have these bugs resolved (I've already fixed #1, #2 is in progress).

OK - an update posted that is MUCH better for MAME compatibility. It takes a little longer to scan and update the ROM list, but it ensures that only working roms should be added.

If you want to delete your existing collection from the list, press 'SHIFT' while pressing the 'delete' button to get rid of everything and start again.

It also is more successful at launching games.

Try it out and tell me how it goes!
