I just uploaded the first full version of Web Radio!
Because the support for internet radio in MCE 2005 turned out to de a disapointment to me (and a lot off other users who live in an 'unsupported' country) I made a universal plugin in which you can configure the radio stations you want.
Download it here: http://www.mcesoft.nl/webradio
In this version you can configure 4 stations, in the next version this will be unlimited and the stations will then be categorised into genre's. This plugin commes without an installer so you have to get it working manually:
- Expand Webradio.zip to c:\Program files\
- Double click webradio.reg to register the webradio.dll file
- webradio.reg can be deleted after registering the webradio.dll file
- Desired radio stations should be configured in the config/config.js file
- Make a shortcut in the "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Programs\Accessoiries\Media Center" that points to the webradio.mcl file in C:\Program Files\dSoft\Web Radio
(The zip file can be expanded to another folder, but remember to edit the webradio.reg file before executing it!)
All this is also described in the readme.txt inside the zip file.
I've included 3 different backgroundimages but you can add more, just put the image you want in the background folder (jpg or bmp)
The following languages are included: Dansk, Deutsch, Eesti, English, Français, Nederlands, Polski, Suomi and Svenska. If you want to add a missing language, just make a copy off (for example) the english file, change it's name into your language and open it with notepad to make the translation. If you go into the configuration page after you save it your language will be available.
Any questions or future requests, please post them in this thread.
Cheers,
Danee
Thanks to Reinhard for helping me getting the internal MCE player going and thanks to all M8D members at www.m8d.org for the translations!

and isn't it possible to remove the free from the script.. because .. when you click it .. it gives an error.. that mediaplayer cannot play none
Futher great work
Oops, in the config.js file it says:
the URL for a slot that is not to be used MUST be "none" !!
but this must be:
the URL for a slot that is not to be used MUST be empty ("") !!
The zip file is changed.
very nice !
only problem i had is that radio 538 that was default configured did not work and skipped to the next one veronica. if i changed 538 to another it skipped to veronica as well if i clicked it. when i changed it to the second slot and veronica to be first the problem was gone
another thing ! how do i get webradio as an item in my MCE homescreen. registering using the reg file does not seem to do that ?
Oops again... I forgot to metion you have to make a shortcut in 'Media Center' folder that can be found in the 'start menu' under 'programs\accessories' (this path is localized to the language of your MCE!) to the webradio.mcl file.
See this thread: http://www.thegreenbutton.com/community/shwmessage.aspx?ForumID=42&MessageID=74037 how to add a plugin to your main menu.
Thanks for mentioning it!
The Error is diplayed when i start internet radio..
for those who wants to place a Internet Radio shortcut in mce Startmenu

Emiel, I can't see the image you included in the post (It's on your local system ), could you please attach it to the post so I can have a look at it?
Thanks,
Look around at http://radio.msn.com maybe you'll find something there.
the error =
row:73
object reference not set to an instance of an object
Emiel, Kheldar what MCE version are you using? I did not test this on 2004 you see
If you do run MCE 2005 could you please put the original config.js from the zipfile into the config folder without editing it and see what happens then.
Viool, That error message is displayed by the internal MCE player, I'm afraid there's nothing I can do about that.
