Please remember that this is a Release Candidate. This release has English, Dutch and Danish language support and one known limitation: The background image isn't properly drawn on 'exotic' resolutions.
Please report bugs/issues/questions in this thread. Do not start a new thread just for a question, that will impossible for me to followup on.
If you like the plug-in, please consider a donation at mcesoft.nl
I hope you all like it!

Hi,
I have some trouble with the Plug In.
I get an error Message that some automation objects could not be created.
I checked the installation file and i saw two errors, first you are checking for a directory "C:\Programma\" instead of "C:\Programme" and the second error is in the registration file for the Webmedia.dll, which is registered with forward slashes in the registry instead of backward slashes. is that intended?
Thanks.
Your absolutely right Ed, those are bugs in the installer, sorry.
I've fixed them and recompiled a new version, Web Media Release Candidate 1.1 and it's available at www.mcesoft.nl
Please let me know if this version works for you.
Thanks for the report!
Hi!
A French language file is now also available for download.
If you want to make a translation to your own language:
Copy English.xml in C:\Program Files\mcesoft\Web Media\languages to <yourlanguage>.xml and open the file in Notepad.
Change the English texts between the <somename> and </somename> tags and save the file...... and please also mail the file to contact@mcesoft.nl
Thanks!,
Release Candidate 1.2 is now available on www.mcesoft.nl, it contains a little bug fix in the installer and the French and German language file are now included in the package.
I've had 325 downloads in the last couple off days I guess people agree with me that the radio support in 2005 wasn't what we hoped it would be
But I wonder, no questions, no problems, no feature requests, no comments????
anyone?
Like i mentioned in the other thread... a way to make a playlist by texteditor (maybe an import function to make it possible)
Other than that a great app !!! Thanks
Great plug-in...just what I needed, a new toy to play with during the holidays.
In my search to find some great streaming video stations, and I found a great directory here: http://www.beelinetv.com/ (many languages available).
Looking forward to seeing all the radio/video submissions from other users.
Only problem I had was going to the queue and playing around in there, I couldn't hit stop on the stream anymore. The only way to stop it was to go back to the beginning, hit play on the same station again and this time hit stop. For some reason, I was listening to a radio station and it had like 5 entries listed inside the queue and that's when I started playing around to see what the other entries would do. No a big problem, but I thought I would mention it in case...
Please put me on your list to beta test the next version...
When trying to run a URL from BBC Radio 7. In webmedia (under MCE2005) it comes up with an error saying it cant run the url and yet it happily will run in a stand alone media player or even Real player
amy ideas hat i am doing wrng??
Hi Jan Arie,
The first version was made like that, editing a textfile, but I changed that to the way it works now because a lot off people had problems with editing a text file. I'm still thinking about how I can make adding stations easier, hand have some Idea's how to do it, but have to see if my idea's are possbile, and don't interfere with the idea that you should be able to add ANY station to Web Media.
Hi SirDufs,
That's a great listing, thanks for posting it here.
I will have a look at the queue problem your describing, I'm not sure if I exactly understand what you mean.
Hi Kevvie,
Could you please post the url you are using.
Thanks,
That url is not a stream url, but the url of a webpage.
The correct url for the stream you are looking for is: http://STREAM.SERVSTREAM.COM/ViewWeb/BBCRadio_music/Event/BBCRadio7_hi.asx
