Oh my GOD!! This app is fracking awesome! It's the best Media Center plugin I've ever seen! I got my iPhone 3G yesterday and just tried this out and it works great, I was expecting the response time to be poor but its just as good as using a proper remote! Never have I been so sure that I am going to instantly donate for some software.
I had one hoop to jump through to get this working, I had to edit the C:\Program Files\ngrc\tomcat\conf\server.xml file to change the server port to something other than 8080 as it just wouldn't work on 8080, other than that, working great. Genius.
Hi, I am working hard on it.... but I think it will still last some weeks (about 4)
BTW: for news and for progress-info on ngrc, have a regular look at http://www.olphro.de/wordpress

Forgive my iPhone ignorance, but do you have to jailbreak it to use this app?
idbirch2:No, no need to jailbreak, this is a web based app so you just point Safari at the url and away you go.
Thanks, will check it out soon then.
you can't
but this will be fixed in next release
Hi,
I have a first screenshot of the new ngRC-Layout, have a look at it here and leave a comment there (on my blog): http://www.olphro.de/wordpress/news/
the new screenshots looks excellent. looking forward to the new release!
i was wondering if you could make the ngrc name and the day/day on the home page smaller, perhaps just running along the bottom of the screen, and then use the space to have direction buttons and the ok button so you can easily navigate any of the media player screens?
