I'm not sure what you mean by you can't run it in admin mode - it shouldn't be possible to run it NOT as admin. I think what's happening is that you've turned UAC off, so you're not noticing that it's automatically launching as admin now.
Yes, I came across the bug that causes the titles to disappear not long after releasing the last version. Should be fixed in the next version (probably tomorrow).
You should find that there are actually three strips for TV/DVD (one has no items). This is entirely expected for TV Pack 2008 - Media Center keeps three copies of the strip and decides which one to show at runtime. You'll have to work out which one applies to you by trial & error.
Hopefully the next version will resolve your issue with OML, too. Thanks for your reports!
Cheers, Musictype.
1. Yes, this is expected. Media Center actually does have 3 TV & Movies strips - it decides which one to actually show at run time, probably depending on what kind of TV card you have. You'll have to figure out which one is relevant to you by trial & error.
2. These are auto play strips - i.e. if you add a link to the Auto Play (Blu-ray) strip, that link will be launched when you insert a Blu-ray disc into your HTPC.
I have always left stuff like background images and fonts to other programs like MediaCenterFX. It appears that that is a dead project now though, so who knows...

Musictype: leonydus:.... I cant seem to get HDDVD's to auto launch PowerDVD8 in VMC.... Perhaps I am misunderstanding, but if you trying to launch HDDVD in PowerDVD 8, you can't. Cyberlink stopped supporting HDDVD in v.8, they support only Bluray. For HDDVD, you need WinDVD or Arcsoft (which I've never been able to get to work well.) Advent, I am sure many would appreciate the ability to change background and font:-) This may not have a solution, but just in case...: When in WinDVD, when I press MENU, it kicks me back to VMC, then it gets into a vicious circle between VMC and WinDVD, always snapping back to VMC. The only way to get out is to manage to click BACK within the split second it shows WinDVD.
leonydus:.... It just wont auto load an HDDVD in VMC.
