I posted this couple of months ago and thought I would bring it up again since you are around some more:

I have menu mender installed on my vista 32 bit htpc.  Every time I go into a program and then come back out to the main start menu of media center, or hit the green button in media center I get the following.

Confirm Removal:  Do you want to remove this program link from the start menu?

If I select yes or no, it doesn't matter.  Nothing is removed and I still get the same message.

Any ideas?

Can we expect MC Menu Mender to work on 7MC at some point, do you have any plans?

Without MC Menu Mender editing the start menu is tricky to say the least and even with registry hacks you cannot fully achieve what you can with MC Menu Mender.

Ideally MS should provide this functionality to us, but very doubtful they will, we keeping asking them, but I am not aware of a response from MS.

Edit:  Or is it open source and another talented developer could step in for 7MC ?

I'm having a problem and I'm not 100% sure if it's menu mender or just vmc.  I've used menu mender to add media browser to the tv+movie strip.  However, when I open vmc totalmedia theater is still displayed on this strip.  Any ideas?

Hey guys; not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask but I poked around and this seems like the closest.  I'm installing Menu Minder mainly just for cleanup, as I've only added a couple things to Media Center and really just want to get rid of the stuff I don't use and put the stuff I do within easier reach.

Is there any way to reorder/reorganize within individual parts of Media Center?  As a specific example, take the Internet TV section.  Default is Top Picks, then Movies, then TV.  Each of those also has subcategories in non-ideal orders.

Ditto for other parts of VMC.  Any way to shove sections I never use further down the list, or are they controlled at the server end?  Thanks.
