No. I've launched the program from within media center, and the folder never is created...

Maybe it's in your virtualstore folder (c:\users\xxx\appdata\local\virtualstore)
You can also try to execute a search for "musicbrowser" in c:\

Here are the dutch translations:

Play all = Alles afspelen

Add to queue = In wachtrij plaatsen

Now playing = Nu afspelen

Track details = Details van nummer

Play track = Nummer afspelen

Delete = Verwijderen

Delete thie file ? = Bestand verwijderen?

by name = op naam

by date = op datum

view = weergave

thanks a lot - i was looking for such a tools since month!

there is one problem using the remote control (hardware) from microsoft:

pressing "2" one time -> tools jumps to A
pressing "2" two times -> tools jumps to B
pressing "2" three times -> tools jumps to C

thats ok! - but now:

pressing "3" one time -> tools jumps to E (and not as expected to D)
pressing "3" two times -> tools jumps to F (and not as expected to E)
pressing "3" three times -> tools jumps to D (!!)

this behavior continoues for "4", "5", ..

do you have any idea regarding this?

it will work if you can play your files in WMP and if the PerceivedType of your extension is set to "audio" in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT (if not I can add these extensions directely in the plugin)

I don't have the musicbrowser.config either.

I installed the app. started mediacenter clicked on the musicbrowser - it works fine.

But I can't find the config file, I only have 3 files in the musicbrowser folder:

Application

Applicationinactive

Registration

 

What am I doing wrong ??

 

 

You're looking at c:\program files.
The correct path is c:\programdata\musicbrowser\ (maybe it's a hiden folder)

Can you add support for .mp2 also? I have a quite a few older files in this format. I changed the file type to audio in the registry like you said and WMP can play them. When I try to play them with the music browser, I get an invalid application unable to launch "music browser" error. This happens when just trying to browse to a folder that contains mp2 files. Not actually selecting them to play.
