i have no idea about the feasibility of this but my only problem is getting my music from my ipod/itunes to stream to my xbox 360.
If there is a simple way of having a programme do all the work for me, i.e all my itunes is sorted perfectly, and that it appears in MCE that way that would be super
Many thanks for the post
regards
mike
Hi,
Great software. Congrats.
I am trying to get it to run in Windows Vista Beta 2 Ultimate. What I want to do is import library info from iTunes to WMP 11. The import starts fine and runs along for a while but eventually stops without completing with message "Error writing to LOG file." My guess is that it is a permissions issue.
Is the source available? I'd be glad to help you fix this issue, I am a .NET developer myself.
If not I thank you in advance and hope this could be fixed as I could only migrate about 20% of my library.
Tx
Does it even create the output log? Seems odd that it gets to a certain point before failing based on that.
Unfortunately I don't have access to Vista and probably won't have until 2007. I have done some testing on XP with WMP11 and it seemed to work fine.
Is it possible to grant apps certain permissions in Vista?
Are you using WMP11 on XP or Vista?
Is it only Playlist sync that fails? Was it working with WMP10?
Just installed MusicBridge (1.6.1) for the first time, and it just won't run. Is there something simple I have missed?
Whatever I do, I only get the message: "You pressed stop or something bad happened."
This was asked earlier (2006-04-07), but I never saw any resolution. Here are the follow-up questions asked at that time:
1: Are your music files on your local machine?Yes. About 3,000 songs running on my home Desktop PC in WMP.
2: What format are theses specific files in?Most are MP3 format, maybe 1% are WMA files.
3: What version of WMP do you have?I am running WMP 10.00.00.4036 (Swedish)
4: What version of iTunes do you have?6.0.5.20
5: Please attach the file C:\MusicBridgeLog.txt=======================================================================MusicBridge Action finished @:2006-08-08 16:02:38=======================================================================
Welcome To Music BridgeYou pressed stop or something bad happened
You pressed stop or something bad happened
6: What happens when you choose the export to XML option in MusicBridge?Exactly the same thing as above, just the error message.
Any idea what the problem can be, or what else can I do to provide diagnostic information?
Im having a similar problem just get the error message
"You pressed stop or something bad happened"
whenever I try to sync all data, playlist syncing seems to work however it dosn't seem to convert track names ect.
my itunes music folder is c:\my music
does this have any effect?
