I no longer subscribe to Netflix so its hard for me to maintain this, work keeps me very busy as well HOWEVER at Mitch's request I have fixed the core issues so it apears to work now.
You need to install the original package, I am now hosting it at: http://unmitigatedrisk.com/mce/mynetflix.msi
You then need to update the bits it puts into the "program files\mce\my netflix" folder with the ones in the file at: http://unmitigatedrisk.com/mce/mynetflixupdate.zip
Now I did only the most basic verification of the bits in this file so it may not be much better than what you had previously, what I know I did not test includes:
I also did not fix the authentication issue, thus you still need to log-into the netflix site with your browser before it will work, ALTERNATIVLY you can edit the netflix.js in the "program files\mce\my netflix" folder to hardcode your customer id, look for a line that says "szCustId = "P...." where .... is a bunch of alpha numeric goo, look at the RSS feed that netflix has assigned you and put the customer id from that URL in that variable and it should work.
I also did not update the installer to work on VISTA, the add-in should technically work so if you wanted to manualy install it you could probably do so using the command line utility registermceapp.exe, but you will have to do it by hand.
For me to do much more with the plug-in I would need to subscribe to Netflix again and at this point I don't have any hard plans to do that; but this should I hope get folks unblocked.

You can try to disable User Account Control, then install My Netflix, then renable UAC then apply the update zip that might work, dont have time to try.
If it doesnt work can someone with a 2005 machine post the appinfo.xml file from the My Netflix folder for him, I think thats the file name; with this you can use the exe in question to manually register the file; the core issue is I made the installer put the file in that folder but he doesnt have write permissions during the install to that location.

I have Vista, and I just installed the latest version, with the zip file you provided, Ryan. I installed normally, then merged the contents of the zip file.
I also tried to register the appInfo.xml using your instruction and the file Mitch provided, but after a small correction on your instructions to use the command prompt below:
"then from a administrative command prompt type "%windir%\ehome\registermceapp.exe "\program files\MCE\my netflix\appinfo.xml"" and it should register the add-in, even on VISTA.
But it returned that the program was already registered. Open it up then and just saw a blank white page. I then try to open the Netflix.htm from the netflix installation folder and it didn't work, Java error icon appeared. I then tried the latest Java version for Vista at Java.com, installed, and the same thing happened again, blank page.
It turned out to be the security sections on the windows explorer 7 under vista. I'm not sure what exactly worked, but I clicked on a lot of permissions on the tools/internet options/security tab, changed a lot of things there relating to script permissions. I received a lot of warnings, ignored for a moment. Then I reloaded netflix.htm, turned a blue page, the sign in page, with a lot of warnings. I then approved of all windows vista critical modifications, allowed them all automatically, and then reloaded and VOILA it worked. Since I had used my Id from the RSS feed, I bypassed the sign up page and went straight into the queue.
However, I can only see my queue, or the top 100 and top 25 pages. I can also see the movie box with descriptions, but that's all. I cannot move around the movies in my queue, so as to change their order of viewing/mailing, which is for my wife the most important thing. Also the programm says I added a move alright, I click okay, my when I log on manually on the website and watch my queue, the movie added is not there.
Also, as Mitch already noted, the remove from the list does not work, but this is much less important. The ability to change the priority and to add new movies are very much missing. As it is, it is just a queue viewer.
Thanks anyway for everybody involved. Hope this helps other Vista users. If I'd do it again, I would start with the security permissions on the IE7 straight away, before installing a new Java version.
Bratman.
Its up now, I have fixed all the significant issues I have seen mentioned in this thread and updated the 1st post in the thread with the details.
Good luck ;)
