I have two of the revues and I use a bit differently than most. My revues came with the Android 3.1 Os and the google chrome browser. I have downloaded several apps from both the android and amazon app markets. With these apps I can access the internet and do searches or visit sites. What I can not do is use them like my linksys extenders. For that I have to use my Wi-Fi TV and Nero media home which is connected to my network to access the media I have stored on the computer.

Mine has 3.1 and Chrome also.  Does yours have the market app, or do you go to them through the browser?  My Family TV is not wifi and i am just looking for a way to get it on my network.  The downstairs "game" TV has the XBox, which works fine.  Want to drop something less for the family room so i thought i would give the revue a shot...frustrated!  any recommendations?

If you have a wireless router in the house look into a WI-FI blue ray dvd player with the Media Home 4 software. that might fit the bill. The reason I got my revues is I have 2 big screen TVs one in the living room and one in the family room. I use them mainly to communicate with my Wife whose deafness has gotten worse over the last 6 months. I have a note pad app that I use to post to the big screen so she can under stand what I am saying. We don't use it all the time but do for important discussions. certainly has been worth the money spent. Considering getting more of them over time.
