I have created a Sleep Timer for Media Center - MC7 Sleep Timer.

I made it for my own use, but maybe someone else has a need for it...

 You can customize the timers, shutdown method,  background, speech etc - see the Readme.txt for instructions.

Updated to v1.3 ( beta ) - Added language support.

                           Fixed screensize detection bug.

                           Fixed weird custom buttons behaviour .

                           Added Mute shutdown option.

The extender support isn't going to happen I'm afraid , beyond my abilities and enthusiasm at the moment.

@fuesting - I can add muting as a shutdown option for MC, but it would be a system wide mute- not just for Media Center, would that do ?

@thirdinmotio - I will add a shutdown option to just exit Media Center sometime this week hopefully.

You could always make your own MCL files that would run Reschanger from Media Center though.

Had some time on my hands so ....

Cool - I've been intending to make one of these for a while and will have to check this out.

My only suggestion based on my own notes for a similar plug-in would be to see if you could add support for an IR blaster to also turn off a TV or other device when the PC goes to sleep.

Love it without even trying it yet!

Hi All,

it would be great, if thou wouldst still hinbekommen for the extender.

Perhaps it could even still build some kind of parental control of it.
If you have children then looked at about 20 or 30 minutes, the Media Center would be turned off. On again when one would have to enter a password.

 This is a great app. I have wanted this for a long time. No feature requests :)

Nice work on this app.. I have two requests:

1- Make the transistion between sleeptimer and MCE smoother, now MCE minimizes and sleeptimer comes up...

2- Make the text configurable in the config file, this way i can change the language to dutch...
