Hi guys. Just wanted to say that I have finally given up on myTV. I did love the program and wanted to stick with it, waiting for bugs to finally work their way out. But given databases getting out of step, automatic clean up processes not cleaning up the database and consistent crashes of myTV when running both on Windows 7 and xbox 360 along with the performance of myTV to the 360 and the requirement for sql server express I finally decided to look elsewhere.

Add to that the fact that development (while we are assured is ongoing has been stalled for far too long with the known issues (8 months I believe) and forums where responses are not so helpful -> "The next one of these posts gets deleted. Any subsequent on the same topic will also be deleted." <- Ok the admin might have got my back up.

So I decided to have a nose around and had heard rumblings baout mediabrowser. I'm now a very happy media center owner again, it's an excellent bit of software. No crashes yet (only 1 week in though), faster on my 360 and just some minor folder rearranging (putting episodes into season folders) and I'm good to go.

Just wanted to give my two pennys worth, if you guys are like me and putting off trying it then I'd suggest diving in.
    A happy user

    Steve

did the exact same thing but awhile ago. I have regretted purchasing myTV since several days after purchasing it. It was good for the few months I needed it and didn't know about any other options but the developer is a huge joke.

    Yeah, I'm incredibly unhelpful. Huh?
