I'm interested in trying it out..
Cheers

How does next weekend sound for the version that does Youtube and hopefully Google Video? Again, there are problems with the buffering, but apart from a bit of along wait for the video to start, she's looking good.
I've got search running for Youtube, and I'm hoping to have categories / genres up and working by the end of the week.
Hi,
first and foremost: Thanks for this wonderful plugin. It is exactly what I was looking for.
I am using the "old" version of Yougle on MCE XP. And as of now, I can´t view any content of Stage6. I guess they changed their format.
YouTube and GoogleVideo run fine however.
However, my favourite streaming site is Stage6, so it would be awesome if Yougle could provide access to it once again.
Do you plan on providing an update for this anytime soon?
I appreciate the effort that went into this project pretty much. Thanks.
Hi All,
Where do I go to download and test the new Yougle 2.0...
I have requested to beta test but have had no reply...
Shane.
You've had no reply because the alpha version isn't out yet. So don't trust anybody who gives you a link :)
As I said, I'm hoping to get one out by next weekend (15th of May). I'm in the process of moving house at the moment, which will complicate things - but a simple test version may be available.
I've got a basic video (no sound) of Yougle 2 working in it's current form.
Would people be interested in this version to play around with and test?

This will only be around for a limited time - this is a DRAFT version. It can crash (but only when you are actively using it), it has the buffering problem which means it can take quite some time to start a movie (please test only on small movies, otherwise the buffering time is excessive!) and it's not as pretty as it should be.
It's also got no save/favourites functionality yet, and only YouTube. But still, if you want to tell me how it works/doesn't work, please do so.
Windows Vista x86 (32 bit) only.
YOU WILL NEED A RECENT VERSION OF FFDSHOW INSTALLED.
If you don't have it, you may be able to find it here - http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/ffdshow.cfm

Hey that's a pretty neat software man! I liked the interface and the infinite scroll. I'd prefer that interface to be more like the video library interface that MCE has. Also it'd be great if the font was a bit larger.
Also is there a way to input text into the search box from the remote control? That's unleash the true power of this app. That's how a lot of people watch youtube. :)
Other than these minor suggestions, it was great to be able to watch youtube from my couch. Thanks!
Oh, it doesn't work with a remote? Sorry - I thought it did! I'll add the Tripletap handler so you can enter the search query by remote.
And about the actual interface, the main reason it doesn't look the same is that I found that since there were just so many videos on YouTube - with so many of them being stuff you don't really want to see - that fitting many videos with their text was important.
But I'll look into making the interface a little more like the standard Media Center one - you never know, it could be effective.
Thanks for the comment about the infinite scroll...I'm very happy with that feature myself.
Thanks man! I'll wait for it eagerly. A fix for the TripleTap and a fix for buffering would make this a must have app for any MCE. Please keep us posted when the these are added.
Cheers!
