    Susurrus:
    Hey Derek,

I have been using Beta 6 for a few days and it works perfectly!  One feature I want to request is two-fold: 1) be able to select shows by title to be transcoded instead of one or all & 2) for the resulting files to hold onto the meta data so iTunes can sort them properly.

Thank you for all your hard work, and a very elegant and easy to use program.

    Sus

Thanks for letting me know, Sus.  It might surprise people to know that silence doesn't necessarily mean no bugs.  I also need to know if the beta release has been working.  BETA7 is out now, though the changes from BETA6 mostly reflect Zen Vision support and a better H264 encode.

Check out the FAQ and Releases pages from the homepage for the answer to both of your questions.  So far, no 1.0.6 BETA7 bugs.  Might be able to release 1.06 Sunday or Monday at this rate.

    Cheers

    Derek

I used your utility, was pretty good except I told it to stop the service and it kept re-running after I rebooted.

best to go into system startup config and switch it off from doing so ;)

    run>msconfig>startup tab :)

@ Derek :)   Nice to see you promoting this super app here as well. Im sure many will find it invaluable :)

I hope I still retain the rank of no.1 x64 compliance tester :)

    lolz :p

Your x64 rank is pretty secure at the moment Astro.  As for promotion, I'll probably drop some links into other forums and the like once 1.0.6 goes gold.  Got any suggestions for good locations?
