I originally didn't have this neither (because my user locale was not set to English US). Once switching that accordingly, I ran: "%SystemRoot%\ehome\mcupdate -u"After getting the "done" message I started MC again, and the internet entry was present.

I'm going to try this as well.. doubt it will work becuase i have the folder there, with some files, and it thinks its already been installed. But worth a shot
istintaj:Running the command as described in Rico66's post above (#212436) resolved the problem for me.Thanks a lot!
this still did not work for me... i think my computer really things the files are already there... and won't update MC
I need someone to send me the files
guys same problem here .... i still cannot get internet tv to show up in Vista Ultimate. I've tried several times to download guide listing, exited, rebooted (mutliple times) to no avail.
can someone help? thanks.

GKD:Hi Maxmcleod....try Settings/TV/Guide/Get Latest Listings......worked for me ..let me know if this helps :)
I've tried that about 8 times... like I said it was on my machine, but I had to use system restore to correct a problem I was having with my ir reciever, and internet tv was gone... I have some remnants of the files, but not all of them... if someone could zip up the files in the nettv folder under ehome, I heard that fixes it.
WHen I try this, I don't get a Done message.... btw... it just keeps going... does this just force the guide updates?
seriously I think if someone could just zip up their ehome directory of the nettv, that would probably fix my problem...
nothing so far is working becuase my machine thinks its already installed... but because I used system restore its damaged and some files are missing...
if anyone can just zip them up, email them to maxmcleod@comcast.net
I'm tired of getting the run around, even MS hasn't helped when I've contacted them.
that's really wierd, becuase those were the same files that I already had in my nettv folder from before i had to restore....
are there any other directories linked to internettv?
or reg entries that I need?
I'm not at home so i can't try to add these files yet, but i'll try later today.
anyone know how to make a reg file for me that would be able to add it to my program in case just dropping these files in doesn't work
istintaj:Check your mail, maxmcleod. If anyone else wants it, let me know (it's a tiny 52 kilobytes).
thanks by the way, now I just hope it doesn't need reg keys
