It appears that the DLink DSM-750 relase has been delayed until at the earliest December or January.

This is a response to an inquiry I made earlier this week.

    Thanks for the info.

    I wonder why?

  •
That probably means the Linksys ones will also be delayed.
  •

“Albert” at Linksys (800-546-5797 option 1 - sales) said the DMA2200 will not be available until “early first quarter 2008.” He also stated one of the first firmware updates for this product will allow the unit to stream ITunes media thanks to the deal Linksys has with Apple on the IPhone.

I have several of these pre-ordered with Buy.com.  Would love to have one soon - an Xbox360 just died...again...

It is available now.  There are 3 merchants listed on the DLink site and itself.

Don't know about D-Link, but the other sites listed mention the unit is not available yet.
It would be interesting to see which formats it support.
The Linksys has problems recognizing some DIVX and XVID formats.. If the D-Link handles them all, that would give them an edge.
MKV support would also be nice.

    edit:
DLink also doesn't have them in stock.

I think they are getting ready to announce. The last few days both the "Add to Cart" and "Find Retailers" buttons have appeared.

Still no availability. I did a quick search on the forum, so there may be better information than I found here. I am interested in knowing how the menuing performance of the DLinks stack up to the Linksys model (which apparently isn't stellar).
