I have been searching the forums and so far I have found nothing. If someone knows the answer or could point me to a forum post that discusses this question, that would be great. My question: Can you configure MCE to launch directly into Live TV instead of the default menu? I want to be able to press the green button to launch my MCE Extender and instead of having the menu come up and select Live TV I want Live TV to just start since that is the primary use. Preferably it would start up the last channel viewed but that is not a huge deal. There is such a great MCE brain trust here already I know the answer is here somewhere. Thanks everyone for all the help you have already given me but did not know!
I use MCE Standby Tool which is a small addon program to do exactley what you want and many other things besides.

Hope this helps
HTPCDrmr:I offer not a real a solution within media center, but I just programmed my Harmony remote to automatically select Live TV after turning my TV and receiver on.So it basically just appears in live TV when my TV turns on.
Ditto.
AndresE:So now my question is will either one of these solutions work through my 360? This will definitely increase my WAF as I roll this out in my house.
Setup the X360 to auto boot into Media Center, get a Harmony for every TV room in the house. Too easy. Talk about WAF with that.
AndresE:Ok, so I think I am going to go the Harmony route. Which one are people getting? Are you using the one branded for xbox 360 or a different one?
Chris - Moderator:%SystemRoot%\ehome\ehshell.exe /HOMEPAGE:VideoFullscreen.XML /PUSHSTARTPAGE:TRUEThat will do it, but you need a remote that you can program for a command (eg. Harmony).

Probably the easiest way would be to edit the shortcut to Media Center with that info there.
