I remember working with this program maybe a year ago, however, now when I try to open a DVR-MS file with it in VIsta 32-bit (I downloaded it again) I get error ix80040154n graph: 0 when opening dvrms files. Anyone know what could cause this?

I have been using DVR Edit with great sucess - until a couple of days ago. Now I am getting a message regarding an error in graph: 0x80040154.

The only thing I can think of that might have changed is I downloaded a program called MultiStream to see if it would allow Windows Media Center to use a TV tuner AND Webcam. I subsequently got bored with it as it didn't have instructions and promptly deleted it. I then went online and found 2 methods suggested for eliminating it - System Restore and a Dos program that produced a CBS.log (convert to txt, etc., which resulted in 3 files that it then repaired). I tried the System Restore and, even though I've done them LOTS of times before (including a BSOD that took my computer out of commission for a LONG time), all attempts at all dates available failed. I tried the second but that didn't fix the problem. I then went into Safe mode to do the System Restore and that was a total mess. I ended up with the BSOD again and spent hours getting the stupid thing back up again. Finally got it to restore to a point before I installed the MultiStream program. However, now my Kaspersky databases are corrupted, etc., and the problem remains.

I know there are a few other programs that will remove commercials but DVR Edit is so easy! I would love to have someone get back to me on what I can further try to fix the graph error as described above.

    Vista X64 SP2

    Thank you in advance.

I've run several other programs I have that affect media files and none of them are misbehaving. Therefore, I have to believe that it is this program, DVR Edit alone that is having issues. FYI, I tried some of the other functions in DVR Edit (other than cutting commercials) and they, too, have errors.

I'm done with this. It was a great program but there is apparently no support...big surprise. See that Microsoft logo over there? That automatically tells you that no one is concerned...period.
