I noticed today that the two Linksys Extenders (DMA2100 and 2200) have a "Special Offer" available for them at Amazon. This special offer is in the form of a $100 discount when using the code "MSFTDEAL" at checkout. This makes the extenders $150 and $200, respectively.
I was bummed when I didn't order in time to get the $20 discount of a few weeks back, but am definitely glad I waited. I ordered the DMA2100 today.

Agreed. For me, silence and small form factor are key, as this will be going in my bedroom. I don't think these extenders are worth $250, but are personally worth between $150-200, so I felt like I stumbled across a bargain. I know these V2 extenders aren't for everybody, but I think is by far the lowest price we've seen so far.
Seems like a hot deal to me. The lowest price I see from a reliable source is $260 at ewiz. I grabbed a DMA2200 for a 2nd room.
Thanks for the tip Mike!
jhale83:Thanks for posting this awesome deal! I was just about to pull the trigger on a second 360 for the bedroom but this will work just fine and cost me $130 less! I went ahead and signed up for the Amazon Prime free trial so I could get overnight shipping for $3.99.
Excellent catch on this deal. Went ahead and picked one up for the bedroom, where the 360 is just a tad loud. Now I can use this, sell the Arcade for $200, and make $50 in the process. I don't mind the less striking fluid interface with the V2 extender since it's only being hooked up to the 26" LCD TV upstairs.
What I wonder, is the overscan issue from the 360 an issue on these V2 extenders as well?

mabrown:Figures I just bought 2 of these a few weeks ago from amazon. 1 is still in the box going into my yet to be completed home theater..
Thanks for the tip, just ordered my first 2200.
