CadeFoster:I just ordered as well, no problem. I'm just going to ebay them since I'm still on MCE 2005 and have 2 Xboxen. Someone will still be getting a good deal.
dravor:As I mentioned in the dSM-750 thread, for $150 I am willing to purchase a DMA2100, even with minor issues. It comes down to the fact that it's so much quiter than the 360, and $130 cheaper than the arcade. I'd be willing to say the perfect price for the DMA2100 should be $99.99 and the DMA2200 and DSM-750 should be at $149.99.For the life of me I cannot understand why they feel the need to charge $249.99 and $299.99. It's not like they are cramming it full of anything particularly powerfull.
Agreed.
Just ordered a 2100 (3:45pm PST) - no problems with the promo code.
CadeFoster:Sorry dude, didn't think it was a big deal. I doubt these things will sell out before the promotion ends. Sorry again.
I'm an Amazon Prime member, so I get free 2-day shipping. Ordered Thursday. Shipped Thursday. Scheduled delivery is Monday. Mine was shipped out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Michael
I tried ordering this morning and could not get it to work. I even tried creating a new account and that didn't work either. I guess I need to check thegreenbutton daily, even if I'm out of town! :-(
Well, this at least gives some of us who have wanted to wait for the price to drop hope that it will again...
Just tried to order one, and got the message:
Important Message We're sorry, but we didn't recognize the promotional claim code or gift certificate/card code you entered. Perhaps you typed it incorrectly or you are trying to use a code that's not valid for the items in your Shopping Cart? (Some promotional claim codes can only be applied to items sold directly by Amazon.com.)
To answer the question earlier someone had about whether or not the price is important, I did not order the product at $250. I don't need another DVD player, so was looking to get the DMA2100. It is worth $150 to me, but not $250.
