For various reasons, I've decided to open source the vmcNetFlix project. This was my first VMC project, I learned alot, and it's now gotten to the point where I think it would benefit having others involved. There already were a few offering their services and I figured this was the best way to get it going. Due to alot of late night coding, some of the code could probably be written better ... but I wanted to provide a starting point ASAP. I've uploaded the project source based on the Beta 1.0.27R2 release, so the open source development will start there.
The open source project is on google at http://code.google.com/p/vmcnetflix/
If you feel like helping, send me an email on what you'd like to help contribute to. Besides development, there is also other things like bug reporting and providing usefull wiki pages that would be useful.
You can send the email to vmcNetFlix@gmail.com.
Thanks,
- EricL
carazy1:yo, this is very cool of you. Love your plugin thanks for all you've done :)
Thanks, now we just need to get some folks to sign up who are willing to help ... had some mention they'd like to help earlier, but no offical takers yet =)
MadJeff:I'm no developer (IT/Ops guy...) but I can help with bug testing, documentation, and other assorted monkey work as time permits. =)
Sent you a PM.
SirMeili:I can help with debugging as well. I don't own any extenders (yet!), but I can test functionality in VMC on two different machines (both Vista, one premium, one ultimate).I can also do some design work as well for UI and such (though I don't know any MCML yet either)
Send me an email at vmcNetFlix@gmail.com and I'll let you know what needs to be done to add you to the project.
