I have been having an issue recently and I wanted to see if anyone else has had the same problem. Everytime I log in to my extenders (Xbox 360) it is reloading my library. Like when I click on My Music it reloads the library from scratch. I have quite an extensive music collection and it takes a while and slows everything else down. Also I click on recorded TV and it says no videos recorded and I have to go and open my video folder and then back to reecorded tv then and only then it will show up. I have uninstalled and reset up the extenders and it is still happening. Seems to me that this has happened ever since I have updated to Vista Service Pack 1. I am afraid to reinstall Windows Vista w/Cablecard because I don't want to lose all the rights/DRM on the videos that I have recorded off of my cablecard setup. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is my setup
Velocity Micro PC: Quadcore 6600 Processor, 4GB Corsair RAM, 7TB of Storage, 512 Nvidea Grafix Card, Dual Cablecard/OCUR ATI Digital Cable Tuners, 3 Xbox 360s
Someone that has connections with the Media Center team needs to investigate this and find out what the hell happened becuase is is extremely bothersome. It seem that alot of people are having the same issue and it needs to be resolved ASAP.
Bringing up an oldie here, but has anyone been able to resolve this issue??
There was eventually a MS patch for MC7 that fixed this issue. Not sure if it fixed Vista or not.
