    Goodvibessa:
Anyone found an app that works with the Linksys wireless cams yet?  MCE Netcam does not, mcontrol is a little overkill, and does not work 100% yet for me.  I will only show still pics, in a small box, not what the wife wants.

Does that camera have automatic night vision?  I've got an entry level Axis camera in my son's room, but it doesn't have night vision so it's really only good during the day.

I can give my feedback, I have used a Trendnet Wireless IP camera and a Linksys Camera with this program.  The program was a little slow to load but worked great and looked great. It also worked on my Linksys 2100 Extender however the video window was limited 320x240 regardless that my main Media Center Computer showed the full window at 640x480. This was a result of running 1080p on the Media Center and 720p on my extender. No matter if I selected the higher resolution of the camera on the extender is would still show the lower resolution. Besides that little anoying bug the program is really cool.

How did you setup the camera?  I cannot get it to work...  I have a Trendet TV-IP 422W, and cannot figure out the settings-- for example, how do you enter username and passord?  I have the same problem also trying to configure an Axis 214 PTZ.

I also see something called Registration and Sign In -- I am unable to do either, and am unsure if this is related or not.

I am using Windows7 Ultimate 32, and am unsure if that is the culprit or not.  I have tried to email the developer, but have had no reply.  I would very gladly pay for a program that does this and works!

The TrendNet TV-IP 422W is a great camera for this purpose--  great night vision, good microphone, and not expensive.  I've used several, and this is my favorite for our NurseryCam.

I just wish I could see it via Media Center using a remote control interface.  And hopefully to work via XBox360 extenders too.

I am hoping to see if there is a better/more elegant solution, but here is something I found recently which works and is a big help:

many thanks!  This does well enough until the mceNetcam adds the DCS-920.  It would be ideal if i could just grab the frame of video vs the whole page - i'll know around and see if there are any more details on how to more specifically alter or display it.

Thanks though for your post - it is very much appreciated!!
