Best auto backup & syncing software for vista media centre raid 5 server with 1 terabit of storage I want to be able to back up my music and photos to a 500 GB USB drive for safety.

I have used Genie Backup Manager Professional but its syncing was not that successful and it also had allot off issues with open files especially outlook I do not want to run home server on another pc as it would mean  I would have to leave it and my vista machine on 24/7.

At present I just have my vista raid 5 server dishing out all the networked AV files and recording all the TV I then have another pc for internet and messing around with.

Has anyone tried any off the software that comes with some off the modern USB drives out there or any other recommendations?

    Thanks Juls

I've always been happy with Acronis True Image. It has lots of options -- for example, I performed a backup image last night but added an exclusion mask to ignore .dvr-ms files. This kept the image down to 53GB (as opposed to the 430GB it would have been).

    It's relatively cheap as well.
