Hi Folks,
I have this problem on two recently built machines...does anyone have a solution yet?
FoxerI have this happen too. I'm using build 7100 of 7MC. It seems like it only happens with movies that I watch with media browser. It doesn't happen with Live or Recorded TV. I've just gotten used to it now, but it is annoying. Like another poster said, you can start live tv, and then stop it, and it goes away.
I am having the same problem with Vista Media Center. When I watch a movie with media browser and hit the stop button, it stays in the "Now Playing" area. It is annoying because it will start playing again if I don't do anything else. As stated earlier, starting live TV makes it go away.
Any word on how to fix this "bug"?
just throwing this out there on the bug issue as it is seriously starting to vex me.
Wouldn't a script that loads a millisecond audio clip on stop "cure" this issue. Audio so that it doesn't interrupt viewing and millisecond long as it would finish quick on its own and allow "now playing" to end gracefully.
I dont know about scripts but if anyone has idea, please let's make this happen. My guess is it would be a if or when stop is pressed, or after stop is pressed do this.
I hate to bump this thread, but I was curious what solution people found to this issue, if any. It's really annoying. I don't have Live TV yet on my box, so I can't even go there as a work around
What is the resolution for this in Windows 7 media center? I've found that after pressing STOP on remote, the video will remain in the Now Playing box on the media center main menu. only way to clear it is to close MC altogether and re-launch it. seems unacceptable to me. annoying.
I'm in the same boat - pressing stop doesn't stop the movie playing fully, so it can never be deleted, and the "Now Playing" windows never disappears.
This is getting really frustrating!
Same problem for me too... hoping for a FIX SOON!! It's been like this for some time now..
